Hello, I'm Agnew Smith and welcome to my website.  I'm a fiction author, who enjoys writing thought-provoking stories that I hope encourages readers to open their minds to what's really going on in our world.  I've always loved reading and I've been writing poetry and short stories ever since I was a little boy.  One of my poems, "Barriers," was published in The National Library of Poetry.  I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia and I'm also a graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting.  After working 28 years in the corporate world, I finally decided to fulfill my dream of writing my first novel, Make A Stand.  When I'm not writing, I enjoy music, photography, playing tennis and traveling to new and exciting places.  I recently finished my second book, Noble, Strong, and Black, which will be available to the public in April, 2019.  Please feel free to contact me or catch me at one of my book signings and let me know what you think about my books.  One last thing.  For all the aspiring authors out there, I encourage you to hone your writing skills, stay focused, and never give up on your dream to become a writer.
